We didn't mean to become Europe's Sichuan people. And yet.
We spent two years in China, fell hard for mala, and came home to Europe with a problem: no real Sichuan ingredients anywhere. Most people would've moved on. We started a shop.

"I searched everywhere in Europe and kept coming up empty. The chilies aren't an ingredient you can swap out. They're the heart of these dishes. So I started hunting down suppliers. Then I thought, I can't be the only person going through this."

Honest answers
When does it ship?
Here's the honest answer. We're a three-person operation, not a warehouse robot army. Everything ships from within the Netherlands, but packing happens by hand. Most orders go out within a few days, occasionally up to six if we're swamped.
Will it reach me in Germany, France, Spain, or Italy?
Yes. We ship from the Netherlands to 26 EU countries
Is this real Sichuan stuff or "inspired by"?
Real. The chilies, peppercorns, doubanjiang and caiziyou oil come from Sichuan growers we tracked down ourselves.
